Me gusta Oviedo mucho. Mi familia es la mejor. Tengo tres hermanas y una madre. Mis hermanas tienen dieciséis, veinte y veintiun años. Me gusta escuchar a mi familia habla. ¡Es muy divertido! Mi madre cocina todas las comidas para mi. Ella cocina arroz con salsa de tomatoe, jámon y queso, sopa de huevos y leche con chocolate y tostada por desayuno. Su comida es muy bueno. Es dificíl comer las nueve o diez en la noche. Pero estoy aprendiendo como tarde en el día. Tengo un perro, se llama David y no tiene dientes. A veces mi madre habla a David. Es muy comica. Mi hermana, Rebecca estudia económicas en la universidad de Oviedo. Ella es inteligente y ayudame con mi español. Estoy feliz en Oviedo. Estoy aprendiendo muchas cosas y estoy disfruntando Oviedo.

{First Blog Post Ever}

I leave for Spain in four days, my emotions are mixed. I'm excited and nervous but I can't wait until I step off the plane in España. I'm most excited for the change in scenery. I can't wait to be immersed in the Spanish language and culture as well as see things I would never have the opportunity to see otherwise. Living with a host family is probably making me the most apprehensive, but I know that I will grow so much from this experience. I am hoping that my Spanish will be adequate when I first arrive and that it will only get better as the days pass and I go to class everyday. I hope to gain an understanding of the Spanish language which I haven't experienced before. I'm so excited to embark on this adventure with my best friend Rosie. I am so grateful for the unique experience that will be available to me through classroom and real-life immersion. ¡Tú veo en España! Chau.
